We understand the frustration of traveling with a whitewater kayak. Airlines are well known for making the process challenging and expensive. Then once you’ve landed, it’s still hard because you’re in a foreign country and lugging around a huge kayak. Starting in 2022, we have opened up our inventory to be rented to experienced kayakers.
Whitewater Kayaks
With a plethora of local runs including the Pacuare, Turrialba is a great jumping off point for an experienced kayaker on a whitewater vacation.

Do you need lodging?
We have lodging available in Turrialba as well as on the Carribbean coast at our Kapu Tree House. Our recently built Turrialba Vista guest house is just ten minutes from Turrialba and is 30 minutes from Pacuare River. If you’re looking to take our SUPs to the coast, our Kapu Tree House is available to book. Located just one minute from the famous Punta Uva beach, relax and unwind 100 feet off the ground in our tree paradise. No climbing is required as we have a hanging bridge that leads you straight to the front door, but you do have the option to rappel down for a more exciting exit to the surf.
